This is one of the best deals you'll get on raw agave nectar. I love this brand, too. I swear raw agave almost tastes like a marshmallow. This is great in raw foods, coffee/tea, and it works great for baking, too. I use it to make homemade granola. You can also sub it in for sugar in most recipes (may have to adjust the water content), or I actually sub it in for maple syrup (this is WAY cheaper).

You don't realize you need this stuff until you buy it. Tea, lemonade, anything you want sweetened this stuff does a better job at sweetening. A spoonful of this stuff stopped my hiccups (after 45 minutes of trying the usual), magical stuff.

I love this large quantity of agave nectar, using it to sweeten my coffee and tea. Since I am unable to use sugar, it has been a godsend. The only con being it is more expensive than sugar.

I decided to taste the nectar as soon as I got it. It tastes like honey, or at least very close. The calories per tbsp are the same also. FYI.

I have ordered light agave from amazon in the past and liked it well enough. I didn't have strong feelings either way. I decided to change things up and try raw agave now that I'm trying to incorporate more raw foods in my diet. I really didn't anticipate for there to be much for a difference in flavor, but boy was I wrong. The raw version has much more flavor. As another reviewer mentioned it kinda tastes like marshmallows and I completely agree. Hands down, I prefer this agave per the light. It's SO tasty!

The raw is definitely better than the light or amber in flavor, though all are good. This tastes similar to the amber, but just better. We use it mostly in oatmeal. Can also work in plain black tea and coffee if you don't need a lot of sweet. (It does have a flavor, so if you like your tea and coffee real sweet, you might want to try the light instead. Although I happen to like this flavor in things, it is not neutral, and so it isn't good in everything--for instance, I don't like it in peach tea as it does not compliment peach well in my opinion.) Another thing I've done with this is to mix it 2 parts to one part pure maple syrup and use as pancake syrup. You still get lots of maple flavor (pure maple syrup all on its own is a bit much for me), but it lowers the overall GI. I've only tried a few brands, but Madhava, on their website, claims a GI of 17, which is lower than others I've tried. So if a low GI is priority for you, give this one a try. This size container is the best deal as far as amount of agave for your money. We keep a smaller bottle around and just refill it from this larger bottle. And, yes, as another reviewer notes, this is 46 ounces in weight, not fluid ounces, so I'd say it's a little under 4 cups. This is great agave.

I have never been a fan of substituting 'healthy' for regular ingredients but I am a convert now. Not only is this much better for me (and mine) than processed sugar, it's much tastier too! I'm so impressed.

The bottle did leak a bit in shipping - probably due to change in altitude I'm guessing. It lost very little (a tablespoon at most). Still, I will check to see if my local health store has this version if not, I'll just accept the small loss and continue buying this way.

I want to tell everyone I know about this, it's such a great find.

This tastes very good and is much cheaper then other brands. Last time I ordered Madhava agave lite. Price on that went up so I thought I will try this one. I like this one better. Will order again.
