Crunch on This,
This review is from: Madhouse Munchies Sea Salted Potato Chips, 5-Ounce Bags (Pack of 12) (Grocery)
Madhouse Munchies are the crunchest chip out there. My favorite are the amazing sea-salted and vingear chips. So much tang you will have to keep reaching in the bag. I recommend this chip to anyone young or old.

These Chips Rock!,

My husband and I did an extensive taste test of hard-to-find boutique kettle chips along with some of the higher-end, supermarket-varieties and found Madhouse Munchies to be the absolute TOPS! Crunchy yet delicate with a fresh potato flavor (nothing "off-tasting") and the perfect amount of salty goodness, they were so yummy we bought them by the case and hoarded them for months. Do not pass these up - they are TOO GOOD!

The best salt and vinegar chips on the market!!,

My husband and I are HUGE fans of salt and vinegar chips, so I was very interested to try the Madhouse Munchies variety when I came across the brand in the natural foods section of my grocery store. I was a little skeptical at first because some natural food chips are super greasy. Boy was I wrong this time! Madhouse Munchies are crunchy and flavorful but don't leave behind a greasy mess. We take the Sea Salt & Vinegar chips with us to every cookout and tailgate party and they are always a big hit! We always leave the parties empty handed!!

Perfect BBQ FLAVOR!,

I decided to try these after being a Salt & Vinegar fan- my kids actually made me! Great BBQ flavor- not too spicy and slightly sweet - they are the first chip that has a clean BBQ flavor (can taste mesquite and hickory) and aren't "artificial" tasting. Also not as "salty" as most BBQ chips.

My main problems with chips is that usually they taste like the plastic they come out of. Those chips on the contrary taste very good as if they just came out of a kettle. I recommend those for all your potato chip needs!

this is my second favorite flavor of madhouse munchies chips. First being salt and vinegar. What I like about these 1 ounce bags as you can stuff them in a lunch box or bag easily. These are high quality chips better natural and use a higher cut of oil than your typical grocery store chip.
Nice crunch and flavor. I wish I had some right now.

Mad for Mad House! It's the sea salt, really!,

I have always enjoyed the fresh, tangy taste of the Kettle brand of sea salt and vinegar potato chips, but couldn't resist the name of this brand: Madhouse Munchies!
And NO, it's not because Rachael Ray, the renowned TV personality and reigning chef (kitchen jockey?) pronounced these as her favorite snack! I'm not much of a follower. It's just as I said, my "madcap" personality was drawn by the Madhouse name. I just HAD to give them a try, and I truly do love them. I chose this one-ounce size because it's an easy way to force myself to cut my salt intake. If I can control my impulsive nature this product will last me over two months. Wow! What a bargain! As tasty as Madhouse Munchies Sea Salt & Vinegar Potato Chips, 1-Ounce Bags (Pack of 72) are, though--and despite the cutting-edge name--I still prefer Kettle Chips Sea Salt & Vinegar, 2-Ounce Bags (Pack of 24). For that reason and that reason alone, I deducted one star from Madhouse. Both products put the tang in my zing! I'm twittering as I recommend these to you. Your kids will love them. Next I want to compare the Madhouse Sea Salt and Fresh Ground Pepper chips with Kettle's brand. Don't those sound yummy? And who knows, they could be five stars all the way... Mmmmmmmm... An Excellent Chip,
By BullishDad (New Jersey, USA) - See all my reviews

These were the best tasting sour cream and onion potato chip I've eaten yet. Unlike other chips which start to get over bearing after a while, these are not too strong, but have plenty of crunch and taste that makes it hard to put the bag down.
The 12 bags did not last long in our house. I only wish the 5 ounce bag was bigger so they wouldn't disappear so fast. I hope Madhouse Munchies offers another promotional discount soon. I might be tempted to order a case of each flavor.

The Vinegar's the Thing!,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I assume the British were the ones who came up with the idea (malt vinegar on fried potatoes is an ancient standby there). Whoever it was, we owe them a debt of thanks. The acid "tang" of the vinegar and the "bite" of the salt are the perfect seasonings for potato chips.
Madhouse Munchies got the formula just right. The chips are a little on the thin side for kettle cooked, but that means more chips per ounce, and more surface area for the seasoning. While a little thinner, this chips have great body and fantastic crunch. Highly recommended.
