Awesommmee!!!,
By L. J. Squitieri "Kathryn, book maniac" (Brooklyn, NY United States) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Madhouse (Paperback)
I (Christina, Kathryn's 16-year-old sister) bought this book practically the day it came out, and I still haven't written a review. So let me start: it was AMAZING. It was so freaky I couldn't stop thinking about it!! But I absolutely loved it. Even better, this book shows that the already hugely talented William Pusey has improved even more as a writer from his last (yet still very awesome) novel, "The Song of the Succubus" (which I also recomend). The story is brilliant, haunting, and full of suspense and memorable scenes. The way he writes is also so amazing. The details he uses make you really picture the scene. I HIGHLY recomend this book to anyone who is into horror, or anyone who just loves a good book. Heck, even if you don't like reading, read it anyway. You will be glad you did! As for you, Mr. Pusey, keep writing, I can't wait to read your next book!

This review is from: Madhouse (Paperback)
This book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, I kept trying to figure out where it was going, and with every new page there laid another surprise. I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. The story was interesting with a little bit of every horror movie I've every seen placed somewhere amongest the pages. I felt a touch of "The Shining", "Amityville", "Poltergiest", and "The House on Haunted Hill". If you like horror stories, this is one the will keep you up at night if you try and read it while home alone, believe me, it happened to me.
