Madison Avenue goes to the Opera (EMI 1989 CD). In light of the huge and surprising success of their "The Movies Go To The Opera" CD, EMI released this "Madison Avenue..." CD the following year. This one was not as compelling as the previous CD but it sold well among those who had fallen in love with that predecessor and so it made its own contribution to showing the general `non-classical music' buying public just how wonderful the music was. While this anthology is not a masterpiece CD, it is certainly loved enough for Five Stars.
