5.0 out of 5 stars It got me interested in history, January 7, 2001
This review is from: Madmen of History (Hardcover)
I used to think that history was boring about trade, potatoes, and railroads. That's what school taught me at least until I got this book in the library. It's about all the greats like Catherine Corday, Yukio Mishima, Torquemada, and Charles Guiteau. Without this book I wouldn't have discovered Mishima who is now one of my all time favorite writers. In short this is a great book. Too bad it's out of print. Also recommended "Bedside Book of Bastards"
