How can I begin to describe my love for Dex Foray and Perry Palomino? There are simply no words.

At the beginning of this Novella Dex is laying (metaphorically) at the bottom of the biggest, deepest, darkest hole of his life. He had held the only important thing in the world in his hands and then deliberately crushed the life out of it because of cowardice and fear. He is not a man worthy of love, not because he is lacking, but because he doesn't believe himself worthy. This story is about the journey you take back from darkness. The moment when you decide that you have to become a person YOU could love, before you become a person worthy of love. And in the end it is about the sacrifice of loving someone more than your own life.

Still, with all the pain and heartache this novella is just RIPE with that signature Dex wit and perversion that any fan of EIT has come to expect. But, there is an edge of change, even in the minutia. The rough, jagged edge of Dex's defenses are just SLIGHTLY softened because he does the one thing that he never really tried to do before: grow up.

If you have not read the EIT books 1-6 you will not have ANY idea what is happening here. There are MAJOR spoilers in here so GO and read them all (oh how I wish I could start that journey over again!) and then dive into the tortured mind of the man named Dex.

I won't go into much detail about the plot as it has already been covered but it needs to be said that Karina Halle has done it again! She's got us diehard fans who wait patiently for every book and she manages to get better and better each time. This book does not disappoint. Dex is back in all his perverted glory!!!! For those of you who haven't read the EIT series yet (you poor things!).......Get on it!!!!...... It's a matter of time before the rest of the world realizes how wonderful they are and getting these books at such a great price will be a thing of the past!

Karina Halle has done it once again......Reading "And with Madness Comes the Light" just makes me love Dex even more.....Dex's recanting of his demise after the breakup with Perry and his rising from his despair to be a better man....his need to save Perry from the demons determined to take her from him....his story evokes so many emotions......Can NOT wait for more Perry and Dex and their next EIT adventure together....

After reading first paragraph of this novella, it was clear that this story will be depressive. Dex was lonely, sad, self-pittying himself, without any aim in his life. Those who read Lysing Season know that Dex messed up and he messed up big. He hurt and lost love of his life and now he has to face all painful consequences.

But no matter how desperate Dex was, his snarkines never left him. I loved Dex before, but now, after reading And With Madness Comes The Light, I will never have enough of him. Love is powerful emotion an this novella perfectly shows how true love can change person for better. Add flawless writing and this books is pure perfection!

After everything that happend in previous books, and after evertyhing that Dex and Perry had to go through, I feel strongly connected to them. So obviously, last chapter made me extremely emotional. All Experiment in Terros fans - you are here for a treat. And With Madness Comes The Light is a must read!

I really love this series, some of the stuff was redundant but I still enjoyed it. Dex is my favorite character in the series and this short story gave me my fix until the new book comes out. I can't wait until June. :)

If you are a Dex and Perry fan you can't go without this novella. Love the Dex POV and all his intensity. I'm grateful that Karina Halle doesn't make us go to long without an EIT fix!

Great book! It was as usual wonderfully written and interesting peek into Dex's head. This whole series is excellent and the relationship between Dex and Perry is electric. I can't wait to see what is in store for them next. Karina always has something up her sleeve for these guys. Reading this made me want to punch Dex a little less!
