This extension cable allows a lot more freedom when using the Dreamcast system. It makes for better gameplay and can improve your ability while using the game. The price is perfect and well worth it I reccomend this product to all Dream cast owners or buyers, especially if your going to bye Resident Evil.

Ordered 4, and they all worked. No noticable lag, no misfiring buttons. Now I can sit back and play at a comfortable distance!

So, I got these cables assuming they were "new." Well, they very well may be, but apparently because of the bulk packaging (they arrive with rubber bands on them), they get all kinds of dirt and abrasions from the way they are shipped to the seller. I almost returned these thinking they were used, but the seller provided a photo verifying how they receive them (in a big bag all lumped together).

Also of note, the color of the cables is very "purple." Not the light gray/purple of the original controller, but more of a dark gray/purple that is clearly after market. I wouldn't say the fit is the best, either.

Anyway, I decided to keep mine for my "old" controllers, but anyone looking for a new-looking, OEM-looking extension should look elsewhere. I am.

There's not much to say, it's the best Extension Cable for the Dreamcast you will find anywhere. The most important part of this cable is the connectors, when you plug in your original remotes cable to this extension cable, it makes a click sound which tells you it has a solid connection.

There's other Extension Cables on line for the Dreamcast that don't even let you move around or it will disconnect by itself because they don't have good snug fits.

As someone who hates sitting incredibly close to the screen, the basic DC controller's cord was abysmally short and a real pain. I always had to move my DC out into the floor AND lean forward in my chair whenever I wanted to play it. This thing is a perfect fix for that, though!

This extension cable works great. Not really much else to say here. The cable is about 6' long.

One of the two cables that I ordered arrived defective. The one that worked is working fine.
