Buying this boxed set is a good way to get the first three childrens books that Madonna has written. (You're saving money this way, rather than buying them one-by-one.) But this webpage didn't list just what's included in this boxed set. So, after researching a bit on other websites, I found out the three books in this set, and here they are:
#1: Her first book, "The English Roses" #2: Her second book, "Mr. Peabody's Apples" #3: Her third book, "Yakov and the Seven Thieves" My review is three stars, average, simply because of the fact that it didn't list the books on this webpage. (Through no fault of the author, or anybody actually associated with these books.) I haven't recieved my books yet, and therefore haven't read them, but am looking forward to it!!

My daughter (6) first learned about Madonna when she heard the song "Time". She seemed to like the song so much that I thought I would get the Madonna 3 Book Collection for her birthday. My daughter has picked up on the fact that male role models are predominant in our society. So she seeks out female authors, singers, etc.
First we spent several weeks reading the English Roses to my daughter. But now Yakov and the Seven Thieves is a favorite of both my son and daughter. Yakov is a thought provoking story about faith and friendship. Mr. Peabody's Apples is also a good read for the kids. There are the books we read once and then sit on the self, and then there are the books that get requested and read again and again. These are the latter.

each of these 3 stories teach valuable lessons. i'm a schoolteacher, so i can't wait to read them to my class:)
