If you are not currently a fan of Marc Antoine's now you will be after listening to this album. It is worth the purchase just for the selection "Sunland" alone, but the rest of the album is just as enriching. Marc's song writing as well as his musicianship illustrate what a fine guitarist he is. In reading the credits you will see that he also played keyboards in addition to other aspects of production so this album is truly a product of his musical talents. A great album for relaxing, entertaining or listening in the car. Viva Marc the Master Fretman!

In the last 30 years, I have purchased only a handful of music albums, and this is one of my favorites. It's so rare for an entire album to be of consistent quality. But more than that, don't miss "Sunland!" Scroll down this page and click the link to listen to it. I always feel better when I hear it.

The whole album is great to listen to either in the background (great when having visitors), to lift your spirits, or just to relax and float away to. A 6-year-old I know (child of a friend of mine) loves to dance to it, and I admit it sometimes lifts me out of my chair when I'm working.

I thought this was oe of the most comforting albums i had bought in as long time . The acoustic melodies in the songs drag stress from your mind and body and replace serene statements. I recommend this to any and every stress filled jazz lover!

I am one of the marc antoine' fan.He is an outstanding giutarist..This album really shows me that he will be always the best...My heart flys by listening to this record.Marc anotine really mix the flamenco guitar with pop and jazz style music to produce a new modern pop-flamenco music.You will fall in love with his songs.Buy it and bring the magic of spanish music to your heart and your lovers...marc good work..

Marc Antoine is my favorite light/Latin jazz artist out there; I own all 4 US-release albums, having bought his newest one sight unseen. (Sound unheard??) If you're into light jazz at all, you'll probably recognize at least one of the songs here. It's ALL good; Ottmar Liebert and Flamenco-guitar fans will feel right at home.

I also bought this CD because of Sunland and fell in love with the entire CD! Definitely buying his other recordings!

When I heard Sunland on the radio for the first time I thought right away that it was Peter White. I was Surprised to hear it was Marc. I had heard Marc Antoine playing on Peter White's CD's. Now we have Peter White playing on Marc's CD. I've been a Big fan of Peter for several years now, so I took an instant liking to Marc's Madrid. The two work well together.

Whether or not you are currently a fan of Marc Antoine, he is undoubtedly among the very best. Sunland, the second track on the CD is a wonderful piece of music you'll play again and again. But other tracks are also full of warmth and imagination. I love putting this on during dinner or when I have guests over. This CD is a remarkable achievement.

I bought this CD for the song "Sunland" after I'd heard it on the radio. Then I quickly fell in love with "Concache" but the last song, "Rebeca's Waltz" is so mysteriously magical that I've made this song my favorite. All in all, a very good purchase. I intend to buy Classical Soul soon and I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

This is a beautiful album with the lead song "Sunland" simply taking you away to a little spanish cafe overlooking the sea where a great guitarist is taking you to far away lands. This latin gypsy guitar music has the same passion and spirit that the Gypsy Kings and Ottmar Liebert capture.
