Product Description

The new Annum blends a nordic heritage with a wider, turn-oriented platform to create a completely unique, light backcountry touring ski. Its deeper progressive sidecut and carbon reinforcement initiate smooth turns and hold a strong edge, while the 78mm waist and wide tip handle soft snow with ease. The Annum lets you kick, glide and climb confidently with the Omnitrak NoWax base, whether you’re touring for turns or just out exploring winter’s wonder.

I had a pair of these and bought this pair for my wife. The scale pattern on this ski is the best I've ever used even better than the Fischers we've use for years. The width of the ski is a nice compromise between touring and float for our Rocky mountain snow. the shape allows turns in either parallel of telemark. The ski has performed particularly well in late season compacted snow both uphill and down although surface crust is still hard to turn in. Because of the grip pines of the scale pattern a spray or wipe on glide wax and a scraper is a handy thing to have with you.
