I was going to try and hold off on writhing this, but can't do it. The boots arrived on time and in very good shape; no problems there at all. The price is what blows me away; you can't beat it, no one can!!! I spent many years in the Army, so I know these boot and for the most part these are every bit as good as the issued one's we used to get. Every thing seems right with them, the weight, material, how they fit, and so far they seem to be breaking in very easy. I understand these may be a little old school compared to the newer style boots, but if you want a good solid product this is it. You may want to add insoles to make them softer to walk in, and nothing wrong with that, I just never done that; my dogs have a lot of miles on them. Maelstrom if you read this, do some of us old school guys a favor and make it in OD green, they will go like hot cakes, for real!!!!

I purchased these military boots for my husband and he was very pleased with them. These are the most durable, fashionable and comfortable boots he has ever own. The only problem was I ordered them in a size 11 and he needed a size 11.5 which was not a problem to exchange them. The seller is very professional, quick to respond and will replace or return your items with no problem.

Thank You
Mrs Russell

I chose these boots because I needed something warm yet breathable. These boots are rugged, and provide great traction in wet and muddy areas, and yet very comfortable enough to wear everyday. It is a great boot for the price.

These boots are a light weight boot. The uppers are lighter and easy to put on my feet. 12 ounces lighter than my other pair. So if you like to alternate between boots. And, you need something refreshing on your feet. This may be the pair for you. Dave- USCG

Was hopeful after reading some reviews...but boots did not hold up..have only had them for about 2 months but after 2 weeks of heavy Camping/ hiking( Search and rescue training on Appalachian trail in P.A. Mtn's) boots are trashed. Sole has separated and the "insert" is non-existent-worn out..ended up walking on the uncomfortable "waffle" framing of the rubber sole because the inserts have deteriorated completely.

I spent 14 years in the military - in the Infantry mostly, so boots were and are something I take very seriously. I've owned several pairs of jungles in my time, some as cheap as $19 and some as expensive as $100. These boots stand toe to toe with the $100 boots, possibly even surpassing them. The fit is perfect, wiggle room at the toe, not binding across the top of the foot, not too narrow, and not too wide. I'm wearing them with simple gym socks at the moment and the fit is ridiculously comfy, but there's room in there if I needed to throw on a pair of heavier socks - which is incredibly important as it allows me to wear these when it gets cold out. One thing that helps these boots stand apart from many others I've owned is the cushion at the top of the boot, that wraps around the calf when the boot is tied. Many boots lack this entirely, while on others that have it it's very stiff. This is straight up comfy.

I received them a day early and strapped them on instantly. My wife forced me to take them off at bedtime or else I'd have probably just left them on. Just kidding.... kinda...

On the whole I couldn't possibly be happier with this purchase!

So far I have put just over 30 miles on these, ruck running with 30 lbs for 9 miles, 3 mile run, and a 9 mile hike, and just today I did a 8 mile with 60 lbs while rucking it hard.

The bottom has not fallen off yet and appears to be in good shape, they are easy to shine, only a few minutes and they look pretty good after you get a solid coat on. Also good to note, when you are breaking in these boots it is honestly nothing to obsess about with this brand. I did not buy insoles, and only wore the stock ones, which lasted 28 miles before I had issues. I noticed when I was running/rucking with heavier loads the boots started to warp on the inside after 6 miles, and I highly recommend insoles if you plan on rucking with anything beyond 40 lbs +. Heavy weight seems to warp the interior at the point where you do not want it to warp, I have a moderate blister now because of this. If you are running with these with under 30 lbs, insoles are not a big deal, running with no weight at all, honestly no need really.

Here is a video of me hiking up a trail in these, I had ZERO foot issues or problems, other than the weight I was carrying during the hike.

Honestly a major steal for 45 dollars!

Great boots. Lightweight and comfortable. Very easy to lace up. I was very surprised being that they are 8 inch boots. Easy to put on and take off.

I suggest insoles for added comfort but not needed. Boots do not have the scent of bacon, this is both disappointing and good as there are neighborhood dogs.
