If you usually don't like curry, this is the one to try!,
This review is from: Maesri Thai masaman curry - 4 oz x 2 cans (Misc.)
As a Thai-American growing up with a Thai mother, I ate Masaman frequently, and usually saw my Mom with this brand. It is absolutely delicious.
When I have friends who tell me they don't like curry, I make them try this. It is sweet (being made with coconut milk and cinnamon) and savory (having potatoes and peanuts), only mildly spicy. Since it is made with coconut milk, it is also naturally dairy free! It is also highly adaptable - the recipe calls for potatoes, onions and chicken, but you could also use beef, shrimp, pork, or throw in some carrots, whatever you want!

Authentic Thai Brand, Always the best!,
By Doug (Florida) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Maesri Thai masaman curry - 4 oz x 2 cans (Misc.)
My girlfriend (many years ago) was from Thailand, and made something different every night. This one is easy, and I get teary-eyed enjoying this (exactly as recipe on the can describes)...I mean, what could be easier than chicken, potatoes, and onions? I have ALL the cans of this brand of curry. Each one different, Each one DELICIOUS!

Restaurant food at home!,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Maesri Thai masaman curry - 4 oz x 2 cans (Misc.)
This paste made Massaman curry chicken at home that tasted just like it does at a Thai restaurant! Just keep in mind, a little goes a long way. The recipe said to use the whole can. I like it more mild (as do my kids), so I used about half to a third of the can, and even then it was a little more on the hotter side! Next time I'll just use a 1/4 of the can. So each can can be used for 4 meals! A very economical yet exotic meal!
