When I read the first review saying that AMLO is a lunatic, I couldn't believe how media brainwashes people like this. Everyone in Mexico knows that he was the winner but the political elite and oligarchy couldn't let see their interest affected. I truly recommend this book and advise other people to really know their facts before they post a comment here.

The book describes Andrésmanuel's life, his political career in Tabasco , Mexico where he was born, then his fight against PEMEX pollution in the zone, against PRI-made election frauds in that southern state and the long march he and thousand of tabasqueños performed to Mexico City, the way he won the presidency of his political part, the way he ruled Mexico City as major, the 2006 campaign and how corrupt policians betrayed the incipient Mexican democracy.

A must-read, definitely.

This is well written book dealing with the political career of Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO), the most important politics leader in Mexico. The book describes very well all the traps that the Mexican political establishment made in order to avoid AMLO be president of Mexico. Is a must-reading book for all that wants to know the actual face of the Mexican political regime and the fraud that was commited on 2006 presidential elections in Mexico.
