Good magnet, Poor Design for Hole
on March 5, 2010
These magnets come with a counter-sunk hole in the center of them. This hole, ostensibly, is there to allow a flat surface if one mounts the magnet with a screw.
However, the polarities of the magnets relative to the directionality of the counter-sunk hole are all the same. In other words if you connected them all together, each of the sinks would be facing the same way. The reason this is bad is because you cannot connect two devices together with these screws and use a flat surface.
Completely ruined my project idea!
