Oh how true that statement was for me, ironically, it comes from a work of fiction. Mary Magdalene, the alleged ‘Holy Grail’, kept tapping me on the shoulder until I heeded her call. Magdalene’s call is subtle yet profound. She uses mysterious symbols, eery synchronicities, ancient legend and history, gematria, AND voices from beyond the veil. It took me years to recognize her ‘voice’ and follow the spiritual path laid out before me.

There are many paths to awakening, this book is the story of mine.

I have become privy to a religious and spiritual experience filled with the secrets of the universe. I have found answers in areas that today’s ‘Good Christians’ dare not go, such as reincarnation, past life regression, channeling; and the possibility that humans can obtain the ‘forbidden fruit’ of knowledge, if we just open up, listen, feel and learn; AND that these divine messages are handed down with God’s blessing, not condemnation. Add to these beliefs, the metaphysical teachings of master numbers, synchronicity, and gematria, and some would even brand me a heretic.

Foremost of my "heretical" beliefs is that the FULL message of Jesus must include the female energy of Mary Magdalene – the feminine qualities of compassion and intuition. Magdalene is the bridge builder between races and religions. She is the call for the world to embrace her and her dual nature, human and divine. She is the feminine aspect of the Christ Consciousness.

About the Author

L. Shannon Andersen has a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and practices as a licensed counselor in Florida where she lives with her husband. She has spent years of study in religion, psychology, metaphysics, and A Course in Miracles; and applies the knowledge gleaned from these sources to her writing and work as a transpersonal life coach. Shannon also works as a bereavement counselor for Hospice. She was trained by Dr. Brian Weiss in past life regression therapy and works with individuals seeking to explore their spiritual path. She is an international speaker doing workshops of a spiritual nature in New York and Hong Kong. Her professional credentials include training in hypnosis and NLP; and a certification as a Traumatologist, working with individuals who have been affected by disasters. She is also a Compassion Fatigue Specialist, and holds a certification in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISM). Shannon loves working with nurses, counselors and other professionals to help them take care of themselves. She has been published in "The Florida Journal of Public Health" and "Florida Living Magazine", and featured in a 2002 issue of "Q Magazine", a popular and trendy publication in Hong Kong.

The Magdalene Awakening provides a staggering new definition for the second coming of Christ: it will be a spiritual awakening of the mind, and it has already begun all around the world. Average, every-day people, seemingly following the normal patterns of their lives, are receiving spiritual messages and symbols they don't understand at first: seeing repetitive numbers, such as: 444, 222, 531, etc., or repetitive signs, such as: lillies, roses, dragonflies, rainbows; or experiencing life-altering synchronicities, such as: traveling abroad and meeting a foreign stranger who has followed an identical spiritual path that lead both parties to meet; and, finally, realizing that Mary Magdalene - and the divine feminine principals she signifies - play a crucial role in the salvation of mankind.
