I have just finished reading this book. It has answered a lot of questions for me regarding my own spiritual journey, and I am grateful to Shannon for writing it. Mary Magdalene has been an important part of my quest, and it has been difficult to find people who could truly understand and relate to my experiences with her. Also, Shannon's familiarity with synchronicity and symbols was very affirming and meaningful for me. I especially appreciated her development and discussion of the Vesica Piscis. Shannon's story is one of adventure and courage as she follows her intuitions and applies discerning trust and guidance on the Journey.

I have combed the market and my own personal path for information over many years fascinated by the information that is coming to the fore on the sacred feminine and pride myself on keeping an open mind with regards to new material. I found this book to be 'all over the map' in structure and poorly edited with very little actual reference to the subject and very little that is new. I would reccommend the reader seek out Margaret Starbird's The Woman with The Alabaster Jar and The Holy Grail or any of Dolores Cannon's excellent books; They Walked with Jesus and Jesus and the Essenes for a much more comphrehensive understanding of the significance of Mary Magdelene's life and what it's deeper meaning holds.

For my money....don't waste yours or your time. How did this even get published....it is sub standard at best.
Disappointed as I was looking forward to a good read. It just wasn't there for me.

The Magdalene Awakening is a book that will stir in you, the ability to see more out of your life. I'm so glad to have been divinely guided to buy and read it. My life was right at the point where I needed more. More of an understanding of why I feel such a deep love and respect for Mary Magdalene. After reading Shannon's book about her journey to uncovering the thread of symbols and synchronicities, connecting her to Mary, I am now more able to see the same things in my own life. Paralell to her search for truth about Mary Magdalene and the message that Mary represents is a powerful guide to help you awaken to and trust the messages that come to you from spirit. We all need to feel connected to something while on Earth and Shannon's courage to follow her dreams, intuitions and guidance is a remarkable example for us to learn from. You will find a simple honestly from Shannon that not too many authors display. One that allows you, the reader, to see her humanness and her spiritual leadership at the same time. Treat yourself to this book today. It will be the book that you can't wait to tell your friends about!

Shannon Anderson's creation of The Magdalene Awakening is a fine guide for those on the path. This is a book to cherish as it is inspiring. The people and locations, sychronicites and the books she read speak volumes for those with unanswered questions. Languedoc, Cathars, Iona, 222 and 444 are fully explained to the reader. This book is an eye opener that will keep your attention from start to finish. This book touched my heart and soul and provided many answers to my life long questions,this is a book I treasure.

Tears were rolling down my cheeks within the first 20 pages and waves of emotion continued with every chapter. The Magdalene Awakening is an incredible book. Shannon shares her story... her excitment and wonder... her quest for understanding... as she follows the signs and synchronicities and the knowing within her heart,
A MUST READ for anyone who has the slightest interest in Mary Magdalene... A MUST READ for anyone who notices the numbers 22, 222, 44, or 444 appearing within their life and is not certain why.
