I have a couple of prints of Toni Carmine Solerno paintings - they are powerful, loving spirits who present themselves to you wholey and with love. The spirits and images presented in his Magdalene Oracle deck are the same - the beauty and power and strength radiates. Every card is so timely, accurate and spot-on. I quickly formed a close connection with deck. The words in the booklet that accompany the cards are succinct and pertinent and full of loving energy. I feel there are both feminine and masculine energies in the card collection. Enjoy!!

I have seen Salerno's other deck Ask an angel and did not care for that much, although the cards were accurate. The messages were preachy and not uplifting. I am a psychologist so I prefer encouraging positive decks. For some reason, I kept being drawn to this deck.
When I got it, I studied the pictures. His art is the same- warm, muted paintings. But there is a crucial difference. You can tell by the writing, Salerno felt a real connection to Mary Magdalene. So did I and I am not a big fan of hers, nor do I give her much thought. However, I do think of Mother Mary often and there is a card for her in this deck. This deck has uplifting, encouraging messages, more like the tone of Doreen Virtue's decks so I felt better. Other cards include Miracles, Family and Serendipity and the Matrix. Serendipity refers to beautiful coincidences in the near future. The Matrix refers to your ability to see the big picture in your situation.
I am also an angel reader. I have to say, you feel Mary Magdalene's energy in this deck and you will feel her around you while using it. I agree with Salerno too, she represents a different side of female energy. She is has been disrespected, misunderstood and now seen as a beautiful side to feminine energy in all women. I wouldn't be surprised if people who connect to her spiritually seek out this deck as a connection tool.

As much as I enjoy and am attracted to the imagery in these cards, I find them oversized. I'd like to see these cards as a compliment to my tarot in a smaller version more easily manipulated with the hands. Shuffling is a bit sloppy with these.
