I received the cord and it did not work. I tried it in another car to make sure it wasn't my electrical adapter and it still didn't work.

These adapters don't last forever, the fuse burns out. So it was nice to find a seller online not gouging me and selling me exactly what I needed. I bought three!

This was a replacement for the original power cord. This one is a little better as it is a little longer than the original. It is of the same quality.

I misplaced the original adapter ages ago, and the GPS will just not operate on battery power long enough to get me to my destination and back. I am not sure I even used the original, so I can't really compare the two, but the one I received is exactly as pictured, and works perfectly. I am happy I no longer have to worry that Maggie (as I call "her") will suddenly give me the silent treatment while I'm obliviously driving along thinking I am on the correct path.

the adaptor is okay, it takes a long time to charge the unit and sometimes it does not seems to work. if had the packing i would have returned it. If had to buy another unit i would try buying a different company/product.

The car GPS charger we bought at Amazon came quickly and was much better priced than buying at a dealer. Also doing this saved much gas than shopping at in our area.

I lost the original cord for my Magellan almost a year and a half ago and the house charger didn't work well. My daughter recently started driving and needed a GPS (heaven forbid we learn the roads ourselves LOL!). I was VERY hesitant to order a cord, but knew she needed it. This piece is EXCELLENT! It's just as pictured (spiral cord and all) and works like a charm. I feel so much more at ease because my daughter has this and it WORKS! I also was amazed at how fast it got here! I would order from this seller again.

My original car charger got lost and the Magellan batteries were constantly running out because I would forget to bring it in to charge. Nothing worse than heading out for somewhere you don't know and having the GPS run out of power before you arrive... or just as bad when you are trying to get back home! This has saved the hair pulling when the GPS shuts down!

My cord started to unravel the 3rd day I used it. It works but the cord is falling apart, wires are exposed.

It's a charger, it works. No problems at all, it plugs my GPS into the cigarrette lighter of my car, and makes it have juice! Wow!
