IMHO if you put the money into a portable GPS, then spend a bit for a case. This case WILL fit the Magellan Maestro 3140 and it's easy to get in/out.

I like the closing of the case as it snaps tightly closed each and every time! The sides are an elastic. And it's a hard case! The back has a little hook to put on your belt if you like.

I bought this pouch with the purpose of protecting the Roadmate 2200T when not is use. The 2200T fits snuggly into the pouch and it closes nicely with the magnetic clip. It protects the piece well when place in the glove box or a backpack. The one thing I do not like is the pouch comes with a belt clip. I don't know why anyone would want to clip this big thing to their waste. The clip should go but the pouch performs it's function well.

Perfect size and keeps your GPS from getting damaged and scratched. Great size as I can fit it right in my pocketbook.

It's GREAT! Just the right size. Compact. Not too heavy. Keeps the GPS safe and secue.

THis is a great item. Made to fit the Megellan perfectly. Protect the screen of your GPS. Very good idea, especially when thrown in a girls purse.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CASE...SO FAR MY GPS HAS NOT GOTTEN ANY SCRATCHES. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

A protective pouch is good if it fits and protects. This one probably protects okay but there is a fit issue with the Magellan Crossover GPS. The Crossover comes with a green rubber edge protector that fits around the unit like a frame. It doesn't cover the screen or the back but it at least provides some buffer against falls or bumps. Well, this pouch does not fit the Crossover properly unless you take this edge protector off. Not a huge deal, but on a backpacking trip I don't want to leave my GPS unprotected, so rather than constantly switching back and forth between the edge protector and the pouch, I just awkwardly crammed the GPS with it's edge protector into the pouch. It works. Sort of. But the pouch now won't close quite properly. You wonder if it would have killed these people to make the pouch 1/32nd of an inch bigger so it would fit.

This pouch is almost perfect for the Magellan crossover GPS. it's lightweight and the unit fits snugly inside of it. I only wish it were designed to hold the crossover with the wrap around rubber sealer.

The GPS case fits my magellan 2200t perfectly. It is just what I was looking for to protect the screen on my gps while I leave it in the glove box of my car. It doesn't have a lot of padding but I still think it will be just fine.
