Could not ask for better product, as promised, delivery time or price. This is actually an exact copy of the one that came with my GPS, that I had lost. Seems a surprise when you get what you expect these days. 5 STAR

I own a Magellan 1340 and my old mount ended up worn and torn. Too much use, movement, heat, etc. It lost its suction. This new one works as intended. Make sure you have the right model for the product.It easily slides onto the mount.

This is the same windshield mount that comes with the Magellan Roadmate 1470. It works just as well as the one that came with the navigator.

It is easy to use and attach to the window. It is compact and very light. It is worth the money if you need a replacement.

Slightly different from the OEM mount, this mount provides an economical yet still reliable piece of equipment to steadily hold your Magellan GPS. Two additional braces on either side of the mount further "cradle" the GPS to prevent movement.

As another reviewer mentioned this is just a suction cup! But, there are some pros and cons as well as an added benefit to this product.
Pro: I do like the lever used for locking down and releasing the suction
Con: A slight warp or any damage to the suction cup and it will no longer hold even the lightest suction.

Added benefit: This works with the Magellan 1700 as long as you have the unit clip. You can unscrew the pivot bulb and screw the whole thing into your 1700 clip. The suction cup on the one that came with my 1700 got warped from a hot day in California and Magellan wants $36 for the 1700 version of this (plus its not available on Amazon) so, I bought this one unscrewed it and screwed it onto my 1700 it is identical and far cheaper.

Suction cup does not always stay in tact unless it is setting on a flat surface and then, it sometimes does not stay either. My original did the same thing.

I only bought this to replace the one I had. It's a suction cup. That's all. Do I really need to waste time out of my day to write a review for a stupid suction cup? I guess so.

This product does what it's supposed to do which is secure a Magellan GPS to a windshield. I've had mine up for a few weeks now and have had no problems. It does what it's supposed to do.

This mount is exactly like the mount that originally came with the unit. I had lost mine on a trip. At the same time I purchased a Gillson Beanbag Mount see Gilsson UBM Portable Car Non-Skid Friction Beanbag Dashboard Mount for Garmin, TomTom, Magellan and more. This was a great addition for vehicles in which the windshield is far away such as on a Chevy Venture.

Suction does not work. It does not stay up on the windshield. Is there anything you can suggest I do or use to make it stay?
