Magellan Leather Case for 4.3- and 4.7-Inch GPS

I purchased this case for use with my Magellan 1475T GPS unit. My GPS fit into the case perfectly and is sufficiently nondescript enough to be mistaken for a date book if accidently left in plain sight in a vehicle. The case is slender enough that when holding the GPS unit, it fits into my computer bag and does not take up a great deal of room. It has protected my GPS during several trips through the hands of airport-TSA inspectors and x-ray machines.

This is a simple leather case for the Magellan 1470. It only holds the GPS unit itself for safe storage in a pocket or glove box. If you want to hold the power cables and other items then you will have to look elsewhere. Other than that this is a good unit.

I purchased this for the Magellan 4700 I bought my husband for Christmas. It's a great fit for the GPS and is made of quality material. It doesnt look or feel cheap and really does protect the unit better than that neoprene sleve that is provided with the GPS. It is a little pricey for a case, but well worth every penney!

Love it. Very easy to use, lightweight and keeps my gps free from scratches.

Although this case looks like it's well made, it's more for a 4.3 inch unit as a 4.7 inch unit sticks out the side of the case. On the side is a piece of leather in the middle that only covers about 1/2 of the sides. A 4.7 inch unit has to be stretched into the case and partially sticks out the sides, making it vulnerable to scratches on the side of the unit. That's why you buy a case, to protect it from scratches!! Too bad they just don't manufacture a slighty larger case for 4.7 inch GPS units. Pass on this one if this is what you own. I may return this one as it's not cheap.

This is a very nice leather case. Although it is not what was pictured and what I thought I was getting from Amazon, I decided to keep it. I just went to a local store to get a bag to carry the power cords, mount, and GPS that I thought I was originally getting. This case provides better protection of my investment with all the other accessories put in one bag.

What can I say this fits my Magellan perfectly and it's soft and easy to carry with a magnet flap very nice

I wanted something to put my Magellan 1475T, 4.7 inch screen, GPS in instead of leaving it in my car. I wanted something that I could quickly put the GPS in and stick it in my purse and that would protect the screen from scratches. I didn't want to remove the cords or the windshield attachment every time I got out of the car - just the actual GPS itself. This is PERFECT! It is no bigger or heavier than it needs to be. The leather is super soft and seems to be a very nice quality. The case is padded enough to protect the GPS while in my purse without being bulky. The fabric lining is soft as well so sliding the GPS in and out will not cause any damage to it. The magnetic closing seems secure and sturdy. It is also very nice looking! If you are looking for something to hold and carry the GPS, cords, windshield attachment and accessories, this is NOT what you want. But if, like me, you ONLY want to carry and protect the GPS itself, this item is perfect. A very high quality product that I definitely recommend!

This case has a nice soft feel and is a perfect fit for my GPS with no extraneous bulk. It is easy to put the GPS into and remove it from this case. I am very happy with it.
