This charger does NOT work with Magellan Maestro 4250 GPS. It does work with my Blue Ant bluetooth voice adapter, but it should not be advertised and sold as compatible with the Maestro GPS- IT DOES NOT WORK.
When plugged into the GPS, the GPS thinks it has been attached to a computer, and therefore while attached in your
car, disables the GPS from working as..... a GPS!!

Not just any USB charger will work but this unit was fine just like the original one. A standard usb charger will put the GPS unit into computer mode so it will not operate while on the charger.

I couldn't believe the price on this charger, wasn't sure if it'd be exactly what we needed. I received it within a few days and it was right for our Magellan. It works great. Don't know how they make any money, but I'm glad I found this company!

I plugged it in and the Maestro 3250 unit went into the mode where it thinks it is connected to a computer. I have no idea if it is capable of charging the battery or not as my battery is shot and I REALLY need something that can power the unit while I am using it.

I ordered this with the Magellan Maestro "Package" and it is great to have a second car charger...one for each car!

Product shipped does not work!!!

I purchased this rapid car charger and when I connected it to my gps, it obviously thought it was connected to a computer because that is what the screen on my gps said. It does not charge. I am returning it and ordering from a different seller. I would have given a rating of 0, but the lowest was 1.

I should have reviewed the comments first. This item should not be advertised as compatible with Magellan GPS. I almost threw my GPS out the window thinking it was broken. But the charger is not compatible. There is no written power information written anywhere on the charger. So my guess is it doesn't even supply the correct Amp/V to the unit.

I do not recommend this product to anyone.

Received the charger quickly in the mail and it saved the day. Had spent weeks searching all over for the GPS charger. Finally gave up and decided to order one online if I could find the right one. Found it quickly on Amazon, ordered it and received it right away. Plenty of time to leave on my trip with my GPS.

This product works very well with my Magellan GPS 3200 and believe it will last longer than the original equipment that came with it. Everything works very well from the time that I ordered it to the time I received it. Great product and customer service.
