This mount is perfect! It sticks well to the windshield,keeps the GPS rock steady. It allows you to swing to Driver, Center and Passenger's views and back without any bending or remounting.

I am very pleased! My roadmate looks a 100% better on this mount. I hated the mount that came with the GPS.

The build quality of this mount also seems to be very good.

I would highly recomend this mount.

Does not work with The 4040 unit. Do not watse your money on this product.

Easy to install 100% compatible. Much more convinient then the one that came with GPS.

The list includes Roadmate 1200 as one of the models this mount is compatible to and is NOT true! It is not compatible if it does not come with the cradle that holds the mount and the GPS unit together. Waste of time and money. Why sell half a product? The mount should include the piece that allows you to connect it to the actual GPS! HORRIBLE SELLER!!! Will not buy from them again.

THE DESIGN IS PERFECT FOR THE MAGELLAN'S...BUT THE SUCTION
CUP WILL NOT ADHERE TO TODAYS CAR DASHES. THE ONLY PLACE IT
WILL STICK IS TO THE WINDOWS. I'M NOW IN THE PROCESS OF ORDERING A PIECE OF SHEET METAL TO STICK TO THE DASH AND THEN
MOUNT IT TO THE METAL. IT IS NOT GOING TO BE AN EASY PROJECT
BECAUSE OF THE WEIGHT OF THE MAGELLAN. I WILL NOT RESORT TO
'SCREWS' IN MY DASHBOARD.........AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN...

A BETTER IDEA FOR DASH MOUNT IS NEEDED. DASHBOARDS ARE RIPPLED
PLASTICS OR A NONPOURUS MATERIAL........SO IT JUST 'WON'T' WORK.

A must if you want to use your GPS on the windshield! It works great and it is a replacement for the original that came with the 2200T.
Make sure you have the RoadMate 2000 Series Cradle, (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000SO3CW6), otherwise you won't be able to use it with the 2200 series GPS!

The purchased item was a replacement for the original, that dried and cracked in the heat of Summer on my car dash. It is an exact replacement for the original Magellan part.

I have aMegellan 4000 series GPS. It has two knurled nuts that hold the arms in position. I missplaced one of the nuts. The options aren't many, either find the nut. replace it with something you now need tools to tighten, or buy a new mount. The product is a direct replacement for the mount supplied with the GPS. Problem solved.

The original cradle I have that goes with the GPS doesn't stick to the dashboard/mirror. It fell several times while I'm driving and I have to just put it on the side so I can continue driving with GPS direction.

The reason why I bought this because the original cradle broke.. I was so happy when that happened. Because it means that I can get a new one. =)

This one works perfectly.. it stick do the dashboard quickly and never fell! It also gives me ease to bring my gps when travelling and using other cars because I know it will stick on the dashboard/mirror.

I just received it and it looks ok.

But it is made of somewhat cheaper material than that of the factory one.

I would say you can buy this.
