A great teaching tool
Laura, my 2 1/2 year old can already read along with mommy. I think this is a great learning tool to help jump start a toddler into reading. I will buy as many of the pre-level ready to read books that I can purchase. Blue keeps Laura interested because she is one of Laura's favorite friends. I highly recommend this item to anyone with a toddler.

Wrong level listed
I am not pleased with this book listing as I was wanting to only purchase pre-level 1 and this is a level 1--makes a difference when a child is just beginning to read a few words.

"Magenta and Me" is all about Blue and her schoolpal / neighbor / best friend Magenta. In this book, Blue talks all about Magenta. She talks about how they met in school, how they play together and some of the fun things that Magenta makes for her.The illustrations are full page and the text is ideal for beginning readers. Many of the words include small pictures that go along with them.
