5.0 out of 5 stars Encore! May 29, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this book only because it was book two, and I had rather enjoyed book one.

What I really liked about this book, was that it was BETTER than the first book. Right down to the one or two little things that bothered me in the first one, that were nonexistent in this one.

The only thing I didn't like about this book, was that it ended.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one, like the first, it was a complete page turner, and I finished it (sadly), in one reading.

Recommend it, and am looking forward to book three, when it comes out!

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun Light Read, not in love October 22, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I enjoyed the first book but found it to be kind of lacking in character development and character relationship building. This one had the same problems for me. I just didn't care too much for the characters and for me that's pretty key. Don't get me wrong, I liked the characters, but in the same way I would someone I just met -- before I knew enough about them to form a full opinion. I guess I felt this book lacked any real depth as far as character development goes. It was a fun, light read. But I am not too interested in reading the next one.

Just as an FYI: I enjoy Patricia Briggs, Ilona Andrews, Faith Hunter and a myriad of other genre writers with some kick ass female leads.

Ever since reading MAGGIE FOR HIRE, I have been awaiting a sequel. Well it is now here and was well worth the wait. Maggie, her dad, her mom, sister and Killian are all here, along with Vampires, Werewolves, ghosts, brownies and other kinds of creatures from the Other Side. Enjoyed finding out more about Maggie's family and the things that made her become a Magical Tracker. Couple of plot twists added to the fun. Things get a little tight for the good guys, but when it comes to the rough & tumble, Maggie kicks butt with the best, The 2nd best world walker (Her dad's #1) doesn't disappoint. Bout my only complaint is that I have finished it and have to wait for the next one.

I loved it! Non stop action and it left you hanging with the information to try and piece it together for yourself. You didn't get all the answers till the end.

First, if you are looking for "serious" UF, before you pick up either of these volumes, let me warn you. Ilona Andrews or Mark Henwick, this is not. Read more

Moves fast, resolves the story line in the current book & leaves room for more. I wish that all the "free today on Amazon" books were this good. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun and sassy
Had a lot of fun reading this book. Anyone who's a little bored with the horny, tortured souls that populate a lot of paranormal/fantasy books should like this series. Read more
