I love the original Magic 8 Ball and was so excited to see it in pink. However this one has gliter in the solution and the gliter seems to collect right around the viewing spot which makes it very hard to read the response to your question. But the answers are cute when you can read them.

Cute product- just great for tweens who are just starting to be interested in the opposite sex. Lots of giggling and laughing involved with this toy.

This date ball is pink, not black. The number '8' has sparkles on it, as wall as in the liquid on the inside! Its so cute and girly! The sparkles might stick to the screen, making it hard to reed the words, just give it a few hard chakes and your ready to go! The answers are cute and funny, i like it much better than the 'eight ball'.

According to the package, the Magic 8 Ball Date Ball was issued in 2000, which makes the product nearly 8 years old. No wonder the pop-up answers don't pop up so readily anymore. I bought 2 Date Balls as gifts for my nieces, imagining giggles when consulting the ball about pre-teen crushes. Disappointing responses ("I don't know" and "How should I know?") seem to pop up more than normal. Shouldn't the magic of the Date Ball be that it DOES know all the answers when it comes to boys? Mattel needs to update the Date Ball. The product exterior is perfectly girly, glittery and exciting. The interior workings? Not so much.

This toy was enjoyed by Adults ranging from ages 40 to 65. They enjoyed it throughly.

A fun distraction for us single girls -- a great conversation piece at the office!

This item is so fun! I got it and brought it to my friends house and we played for hours and hours and did not get board once! As long as you can think of questions its great! It is Better than a PS2!
