o.k., o.k., o.k....I know I should have read the fine print. But as a huge fan of the book, I was VERY disappointed to learn that the audio book is an abridged version.

And in my opinion, VERY abridged.

Too bad the whole book isn't on audio, as it would make a great car ride listen.

I agree with another reviewer that it takes a few reads to take in this great piece of work. But when the whole thing isn't on audio...it obviously doesn't matter if you listen several times or not, because a bunch of the good stuff is missing!

But as far as the book goes...highly recommended.

The CD is simple to use, and it works! I have tried a lot of great things, and this is the best. I play it non-stop, and I highly recommend it for gathering one's forces, and rising to one's potential in this earthly realm.

This is an excerpt of the salient points from the book, about an hour long. It's a good introduction to the book -- buy the CD and then you'll either want the book so you can learn more, or you'll decide you're not interested. The book from which it's excerpted is excellent, and highly recommended. The gentleman who wrote it died back in 1951, but the subject matter is just as pertinent today as it was in 1948 when he wrote it. I give the CD 4 stars and the book 5 -- you'll want to read it more than once and listen to the CD more than once to really get everything from it. It's a little vague in some ways, and sometimes you may think "come on, just spit it out already!" but if you pay attention, it's worth a whole lot more than you'll pay for it. It really *can* help you change your life.

This book proves that what you think comes into being. When people say "the placebo effect" worked, what they are really saying is that if you think it, you make it happen.This book shows you how to do it. It is an exellent book for proving your mind can make things work out for you.

The Magic of Believing has always been one of my most favorite books and it was so great to find out that it was also available on audio CD. Wow. The concepts are so simple and yet it really works.

This audio CD has everything you need to be successful in life. Listen to it over and over until the messages sink into your subsconscious mind!

My mom had read this book many years ago and it changed not only HER life - but all of her children's, because she lived the concepts taught in this book/CD and explained them to us. This material... this information... is so very valuable to anyone who wants to make a change in their life for the better. In fact, I honestly believe that every kid of middle school age should be given the opportunity to either read or listen to this book, as a tool for a successful life. It would change life paths. And help make dreams come true.

This CD is absolutely amazing, you can listen to it over and over as you're in your drive time university(on the way to whatever destinations in your car). It will really change your life because Claude Bristol has made everything you need to do to change your life practical and if you do it you will see your dreams and visions come true. I added a link to another of his books, TNT The Power Within You because it takes you a little further into the reason why the Magic of Believing works.These are definitely two that you want to keep in your library and review them often and share your knowledge with everyone you see because your children need this, your family needs this, the world needs this.TNT: The Power Within You

I was turned onto this book when I entered the workforce. I come back to the book when I need encouragement, a lift, and/or a reminder how wonderful a journey this life has brought to me. And, now being able to listen to the book, it's fabulous.

I recommend purchasing the book in print before listening to the CD. However, listening to the CD brings the words of the message to even higher heights.

You won't be disappointed. This book reminds all of us that "anything is possible".

And, as a cancer survivor, I know the importance of positive thinking, and believing that everything is possible, if you just BELIEVE, IT'S LIKE MAGIC!

This book reveals a great secret to all spirital beings on this earth. I love this book,in every effort that it provides to reveal the truth to happiness,health, and wealth in all of our lives today.
