The long awaited beginning of reissued original Blue Magic albums, digital onto cd, has arrived, and it's about time! These "Titans Of Sweet Soul" produced numerous sweet soul gems, that prior to now were only accessible on vinyl. Whatever the reasons of delay, finally a deal was cut, and those who like/love the music of Blue Magic are winners too! Most are familiar with the music of their debut release 1974s self-titled "Blue Magic", which has been put on the cds that have been availible on the market for a number of years now, as called "greatest hits". One year after the release of the first lp, Blue Magic had hit their stride! The two 1975 album releases "Thirteen Blue Magic Lane", and "The Magic Of The Blue" hit the market with a double-barrel shot of gems! For Blue Magic fans, not-withstanding their first album (the "Live At The Latin Casino album goes into a different category by itself), "The Magic Of The Blue" arguably is considered their second best album, followed by "Thirteen Blue Magic Lane". These two albums? Too many gems to list. Easy to resolve.. It's buy time! Buy these two and the others, if and when released. One of the writer's favorites..."Looking For A Friend" on "The Magic Of The Blue". The cds are high quality (manufactured by "Rhino"), and have the original artwork on the albums. We trust other Blue Magic albums are already being put onto cds. Two 5 star Blue Magic lps.

WELL,WELL,WELL Love has found it,s way to me.I love this album (cd) sorry im old school.This is the follow up album to their self titled album this is just as good as the first. Songs like when ya comming home, three ring circus and never gonna get over you are all classics.If you are a fan of phylly soul this cd is for you enjoy!

I just love this work! Specially "You Won't Have to tell me Goodbye", One of the most beautiful songs from the 70s!

A Rare collector's Item!

you always knew Blue Magic with there tight harmony and crisp soulful presentation. this Album still is soulful and just gets better with time. these Brother can Sing/Sang which is a lost art. for me back in the day if you wanted to be seen or heard as somebody happening well then you had to be Soulful period. that in itself is a lost statement for the most part nowadays.

A great Disc by a Great Group...takes me back to my teen years in the 70's when music was made by real musicians and singers!! Five stars!!!
