This book is very well organized, with sections on cards, coins, close-up magic tricks, etc., as well as large stage presentations. It goes into meticulous detail about the techniques for successfully executing each trick, complete with a series of clear color photographs showing each step along the way. This is a most excellent book.

This book is one of the best books on magic in print today. It is written very well and has beautiful color photos explaining the tricks. I have many magic books in my collection, some dating back to the early 1900's, some that cover tricks by Howard Thurston, Harry Blackstone, Houdini, Robert Houdin, Mark Wilson,etc. but this book is by far my most cherished. I have used most of the versions of classic tricks included here in my shows and they are the best. The book covers the cups and balls, chinese linking rings, classic rope tricks, ball tricks, cigarette tricks, silk tricks and most of the classic magic props. Much of the standard magic shop equipment and it's usage is explained here....and it is done step by step. Whether you are a Professional or an Amateur Magician, then this is the book for you. Believe me, this book is a wonderful world of magic!!!

Item stated it was new but looked like it may have been used. Wasn't in bad condition, just didn't appear to be new as described.
