5.0 out of 5 stars Works like promised., February 25, 2011

Anything I apply it to, it beads up. I got it for a rug in my family room and if I get any spill or stain, it never lets it penetrate. Best I've used.

So, I got my order and sprayed it on a paper towel, let it dry and the next day put it under water and it was simply amazing. I couldn't get the paper towel wet no matter how hard I tried. Then used it on my hat, same thing - couldn't get it wet, it just beaded off. Used it on an area rug, same thing. I would give it more stars if there were more stars to give!!!

This is the most amazing fabric protector ever. I applied it in my dark tablecloth and tested it the next day. Any spill beads up and you can wipe clean easily. Also, after a meal, crumbs and flour based products that spilled on the tablecloth come right off with a damp cloth. It's just amazing! I am running all over the house spraying this everywhere I can. I have already applied it to the throw pillows on the sofa, the curtains and small rugs. Next project: all the carpet in the house and the furniture. I tested it on a little corner on the carpet to make sure it didn't stain. Then I spilled orange juice and red pomegranate juice and sure enough, it beads and you can remove it with a paper towel. I will buy a two gallon sprayer to cover all the carpet. When you first apply it, it will smell a bit like gasoline but the smell disappears after a while.
