Seriously how to do you do it? How do you rate something as immortal, as fantastic, and as memorable as Magic Carpet Ride? You don't. You can't rate it because the song is beyond rating. All you can really do is bask in its wonder and let the music take you away. It's really no wonder why some of the greatest movies of the last twenty years have used this song. Star Trek First contact is a great example).
