If you like this type of clarinet music, there's no denying its a good CD but beware, the track I bought it for is not the original, Stranger On The Shore.

I bought this CD in 1996.It kind of made me tremble. I haven't forgotten Jean, for starters. I think I knew the words to everyone of these melodies, beautifully performed by Acker Bilk. I remember him particularly for Stranger on the Shore and Moon River, chartbusters in the sixties. I gave the disc to a best friend and have finally reclaimed it from Amazon.Its a wonderfully haunting sound, that clarinet. Merci Acker!
