The Lightscribe capability was the only reason for me (an IT manager) to purchase this drive. So far it does not function. 2 months of communication with I/O Magic technical support has been futile. The unit comes with Nero 7 SE, but does not work in Lightscibe mode here. I/0 Magic support recommended removing Nero 7; provided instructions to download a full OEM version of Nero 6 (BTW, you have to find eleswhere, a Lightscribe driver; it is not included nor stated as such). Regardless, this worked NOT! Samsung apperars as the original manufacturer and while they provide technical support to similar models, none for the OEM of this drive! Worse, because of the malfunction of this unit, computer hangs or crashes regularly, just with the drive powered up (confirmed many times by simply turning off the drive). For me, not worth the hassle; web blogs full of similar comments. I won't buy another thing from I/O Magic.
