5.0 out of 5 stars Great
I saw the opera in Vienna this year so I came home and ordered the CD and this vocal score. I was pleasantly surprised to find out besides the music were the words (German) between the songs. I'm having fun playing the music and remembering the opera. The book arrived promptly and in good condition.

3.0 out of 5 stars Why is Italian given as the primary text?
The notes are clear and easy to read, but the font for the text is quite small, and to make matters worse, this edition (Dover Vocal Scores) gives Italian as the primary language (immediatly below the notes). 5.0 out of 5 stars Singing it, December 31, 2001
This review is from: The Magic Flute Vocal Score (Dover Vocal Scores) (Paperback)
Beautifull music for Sopran (Pamina and Queen of the night) and for Bariton (Papageno). (Also Tenor (Tamino) and Bas (Sarastro))
The book has all the highlights from the opera, clearly writen for Piano and Vocals. Some bits are easier, some harder, but the music is superb!
