Not quite worth it,

This book may seem appealing to people just starting to learn Magic, but it isn't the best choice. It includes extremely simple strategies that even beginners would know, sample deck ideas (which come with every booster pack of Portal you buy), and pictures of every portal card. Having all of the cards in the set in one book is the best part, but the Official Encyclopedia Volume 2 has Portal, Mirage, Visions, Weatherlight, and 5th Edition card pictures and costs only $10 more. So instead of buying this, save your money for the encyclopedia Vol. 2, or just buy another starter deck.
