Judi Fennell has had her nose in a book and her head in some celestial realm all her life, including those early years when her mom would exhort her to "get outside!" instead of watching Bewitched or I Dream of Jeannie on television. So she did--right into Dad's hammock with her Nancy Drew books.

"It was so good I nearly peed my pants!" Judi's books always put old fave movie quotes in my head because her stories always pay hommage to the greatest flicks from my generation. ("Pretty Woman" is in my head now, thanks to Judi!)

Magic Gone Wild is the third book in Judi's Genie series. I fell in love with her tongue in cheek wit in her Mer series, and this book was her greatest combination of wit, humor and romance yet.

I was literally laughing out loud so hard I could barely breathe during a scene in the story. My husband thought I was nuts!

Vana is a sweet and slightly inept genie who's magic never quite works the way she hopes, and she struggles to live up to the legacy of "super genie " that her twin and parents had perfected.

Zane is her sexy, good hearted, pro football player master who suddenly poofs into her bottle and wreaks havoc with her libido and heart.

Throw in Merlin the Phoenix, a stubborn armoire, an enchanted coatrack and dishes, and a blend of mythology, Disneyeque magic, and slapstick humor, and you have a book that will keep you turning the pages. And then make you want to start all over and read it again as soon as you finish it.

Expect twists and laughs and a great, lighthearted read that will just make you feel good at the end. I cannot wait for her next book...Judi Fennell never disappoints!

MAGIC GONE WILD is another wonderful fantasy--fairy tale romance by the talented Judi Fennell! I loved the main characters and also the talking bird! Fennell has such a unique spin on fairy tales and gives us plenty of romance and suspense to keep us turning the pages. I loved this book!

Vana is a genie with nothing but time on her hands at least until Zane mysteriously pops into her bottle! Zane Harrison is a pro-football player with nothing on his mind but selling the old family home. See, Zane doesn't want anything to do with the town that he spent part of his life in because well the Harrison's have a rather inauspicious reputation. It doesn't take Zane long to figure out how his great-grandfather got the reputation of being a loon.

Vana's skills as a genie are rather lacking. She bungles more things than she makes right. Vana can't stand the thought of Zane selling the house she loves so she is going to convince him to change his mind, but will she be able to do that if she can't even do a little magic without messing up?

Magic Gone Wild is wild and crazy fun. If I told any of my friends that I totally loved this book they would think I'd gone mad. Not because of the book but because of my reputation as an action/suspense lover. I rarely go for comedy...I mean it's really rare! However, Judi Fennell wins me over with her down-on-her-luck genie and her sexy sweet hero. Poor Vana cracks me up with her Magic Gone Wild. This poor girl is a magical being who just can't get it right. Vana doesn't snap her fingers to make magic happen she puckers up for an air kiss to cast her magic. Her kisses are all bad until she lip locks with the sizzling Zane. It's just too bad that genie/master love is forbidden! The sexual attraction between these two is sky high and it turns Magic Gone Wild into a hit. Zane has a one track mind until Vana invades his life. I thoroughly enjoyed watching him change his way of thinking and embrace all the possibilities life has to offer. I never knew genies could be so fun! This is the third book in the Bottled Magic series but my first. It is not necessary to have read the first two books to follow this entertaining story. Magic Gone Wild takes the reader on one amusing and adventurous ride.
