This review is from: Magic Knight Rayearth 2: Rise [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Cephiro is crumbling and foreign countries are invading. The Magic Knights are, once again, summoned to Cephiro. They are determined to save the fading world where they first met. They have matured since their previous battle. Hikaru is plagued by dreams of Lady Debonair, who is determined to destroy Cephiro. Without a pillar, things look bleak for the Magic Knights. Magic Knight Rayearth is one of my favorite anime series. This is volume 2 out of 7 of the second tv series. As usual, Clamp has done a beautiful job. The character designs are superb. However, sometimes their proportions are a bit..... exaggerated. Ex: Lantis is outrageously taller than Hikaru. She only comes up to his waist. And there is one part where the animation gets kinda weird (ie. not as superb). But the story helps you forget about that. I definitely recommend this series.

I bought this video a while ago, but it's so full of Romance and love, I can't resist to watch it over and over:) I definetly reccomend this to people who love both Magic Girl anime, and the power of love!

When I watched it I thought it followed pretty well along the manga but, I wish they wouldn't of made 2 1/2 episodes just for fighting. I like it better when they envolve the characters talking. Which does happen but only in the 3rd and 4th epidoes of the tape. This tape also gives a clif hanger enough that I might even purchase the next tape!
