Comment: This book has already been loved by someone else. It MIGHT have some wear and tear on the edges, have some markings in it, or be an ex-library book. Over-all itâ?TMs still a good book at a great price! (if it is supposed to contain a CD or access code, that may be missing)

I have a Rebel and love it! I wanted to expand my working knowledge and found that this series offers both tips on photography as well as ways to work MY particular camera. The DVDs are wonderful. The one for the actual camera was the most helpful because the narrator designed it to let you watch, pause, and play with your camera as you go. There is also a handy reference card that you can keep in your camera bag. The card is similar to the one that came with my Rebel but it does not hurt to have more than one. I am ordering a second copy of the book for my father since he too has a Rebel and wants his own set.

This is a GREAT value for the full price let alone at the Amazon.com rate. Frankly, it's even easier to follow than the Dummies Books and they are very good too.

This is a somewhat misleading title. The book is mostly a general book on digital photography, and not much if any specific about the Canon EOS T1i. In fact most of the photos inside the book showing a complete picture of a camera model, is of a ...Nikon.If you take off the plastic book cover, the actual hard cover does not even mention the Canon EOS T1i. There is a DVD with info on the Canon and a small plastic ready guide for your camera bag, so I will give it a couple of stars. Not the best book on the subject and certainly not as the plastic book cover would have you believe.

This book is great! The accompanying DVDs are so helpful, I am a novice photographer and the dvds and book does a great job at breaking down this particular model as well as tips and tricks to get that perfect shot. The DVDs are not over your head if you are a beginner.

I traded my "point and shoot" camera for an SLR when I retired a few years ago. I learned some basics about the SLR, but had a long way to go! The Multimedia Workshop taught me more in two hours than I had learned in ten years. The DVD instructional video targeted my specific camera and was outstanding. I feel like I now can get the most from the camera and really understand the "bells and whistles"! The "Great Photos with your SLR" Video applies to all photography and is a great help for the average camera owner. The book is short, but serves as a quick review and reference. The quick reference wallet card is OK if you have really good eyes. The print is too small! I was so impressed with the publication that I bought my daughter the guide for her new Nikon D3100.
