Wyatt was fire, there was no doubt about it.

As Annie settled in amid the pillows on her bed, thoughts of the preceding hours she'd spent with him came swirling back to her.

Wyatt was a powerfully compelling, highly sensual man who was trying to figure her out, trying to understand what it was about her that attracted him to her.

Frankly, she was surprised he hadn't figured it out yet, because the answer wasn't at all complicated. It was the same reason she was attracted to him. Chemistry.

The chemistry the two of them had together was strong enough to rearrange the Rockies. But by all accounts the Rockies were perfectly fine the way they were now and so was she.

She obviously had a decision to make.

From their very first kiss, she'd known they could create fire together. She'd also been aware of the sexual tension that simmered just beneath the surface of every look, every touch, and every word they exchanged.

She knew better than anyone how fleeting and fragile life was. She'd learned to make each moment the best that she could, and then go on without regret.

So when the time came for her to make the decision, and it would come, she would simply do as she'd always done. She would do what felt right.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful! I could'nt get enough., September 27, 1998
This review is from: The Magic Man (Loveswept) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is a wonderful book. I read it a while ago since I get my books directly from Bantam Books. It was sooooooooooooooo good. I have never seen a man quite as wonderful as Wyatt. And Annie was wonderful, especially in the beginning when she first met Wyatt and she was pretending to be her character from the Ren fair she was working at. I love mystery books and I loved this one cause I kept thinking it was the Mafia after her. I should have known. And the end was sooooo sweet. After I finished reading it I couldn't stop saying how sweet it was. Anyone who hasn't read this book yet should. Especially if you love magic. Mrs. Preston, keep on writting, you're great. I'm reading "The Damaron Mark: The Lovers" and so far so good. I can't wait to read the other books!
