I first heard Nana while in Saudia Arabia and thought that she was solely a local singer with a magicial voice. I was very pleased to find her again on-line. For a very relaxing and magicial hour I sincerely recommend this alblum. Nana is a very remarkable talent and this collection suits her style very well.

With a clarity of voice seldom heard, she extracts the utmost from these selections...Her voice is strong,yet tender & loving..Range and timbre extra-ordinary...Great listening at home or on a sailing trip where I first heard the album. Highly recommended ...!

I first heard Nana at the home of a Greek friend. Not one word did I understand BUT the power and emotion in her voice and presentation stunned me. Not until I heard Celine Dion some years later did I experience the same feeling only to a lesser degree. If you listen to each sing "the Power of Love", I believe you will agree that Miss Mouskouri exits the WINNER. I also have Nana's French and Spanish albums which are equally exciting and thought provoking. I regret not seeing them available at this site. Try her!

Belive me its one of the best cds Nana Mouskouri has ever made. I love every song that its on it.

This collection is worth only for Mouskouri's version of Lonely shepherd,but besides that all other songs were used on other better collection (Passport,for instance).If you really want to enjoy from her "Voice of lasting" (As the Guinness encyclopedy for popular music defined her voice) you should get her original albums:Alone,Sings over & over etc..
