This is a pleasant surprise, the latest release from Phil Perry has everything going in the right direction ~ "Magic", the new Peak release gives his fans something to sink their teeth into...from smooth jazz, soul and latin weaves each track together like a fine tapestry...each selection brings listening pleasure the likes you've been searching for ~ "KEEP REMINDING ME", a taste of salsa, composed by Russ Freeman and Perry...the final track "IN THE MORNING (FATHER'S LULLABY)", written by Lee Ritenour, brings a tear to your eye ~ "keep on dreamin', keep on believin', do the best that you can do, your prayer's on this night, you'll be alright in the morning"...lyrics of a son, grandson who is so strong and handsome...this lesson true feelings for one human being to another, is what we're taught from little on...each and everyone of us, should never waver from this path...this album is without a doubt, a five star plus performance!

This to me is his best by far..I love Phil Perry and have all of his work.He sings some nice romantic ballads and even his faster paced tunes are nice and mellow..This is a cd for a romantic evening with your signifigant other.
I especially like the title cut..But then again,I like everything he does.Get this one.You won't be sorry.

Phil Perry has done it again! Never will like anything better than "One Heart One Love" but I love all Phil's CD's. Magic is a beautiful CD! Phil Perry sings over and over to me. His CD's hardly breathe in my cd player in the car. The Isley's "Living For The Love Of You", oh my! Keep it up Phil. And come back to Las Vegas soon!!! I am having withdrawls.

I have followed Phil Perry since his days as lead singer of the R&B group the Montclairs. I Believe that this is his finest work to date.He had the opportunity to co-write all the original material. My favorite is the feel good "MORE OF YOUR SWEET LOVE" Like my friend Will Downing, this man is overlooked and underappreciated. Pick up this CD and you will see what I mean. A RARE TALENT! A REAL VOICE!

Good mellow grooves, excellent Isley Bros. remakes straight from the soul. Phil Perry never changes his style from his previous works. Like Will Downing, you know what to expect from them, and you're never dissapointed. Good Album! "Spirit of Love" is the highlight of the album.

This is a fantastic jazz album. I love Phil Perry's sound. Very relaxing music. When I have trouble sleeping I sometimes put it in my CD player and before the fourth song I am so relaxed that I fall to sleep. I most definitely recommenf this CD.
