About the Author

Marilu Suarez-Murias is from Caracas, Venezuela. She first came to Puerto Vallarta for three months in 1989 and she still lives here with her husband, her baby daughter, and her dog. Her emotional and narrative writing style enlivens the text, inviting you to learn more about The Magic of Puerto Vallarta. Her works have been published internationally, including her two guidebooks in Spanish; The Guide for the California Globetrotter and The Guide for the Mexico Globetrotter . Her most recent book Discover Puerto Vallarta has had record sales in Mexico. Marilu has a Bachelors Degree in Communication from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Caracas, and a Masters Degree from American University in Washington, D.C.
