This is a really cool recording.There is a wide variety of sound's,From jazz,R&B,and Dance!Magic is a nice song.Move a little closer and Get Up have a good dance/R&B groove.Lovely Day is my favorite on this disc.Driftin and Sundown are good as well.If you are a Shakatak fan,Open your Eye's and Shine On with Magic..

Shakatak has done it again. "Magic" is the latest masterpiece from the jazz group out of the U.K., and what a CD it is. It's rich smooth jazz compositions are the epitome of contemporary jazz and, again, puts the group right up there with all the other jazz greats. The title track, "Magic," is a rich blend of vocals and instrumentals with a beat that will make even the most conservative people let their hair down. If you haven't added "Magic" to your collection, do so post haste. It will having you movin' and groovin' whenever you play it.

Five stars for this great jazz album by Shakatak..their inventiveness in creating this kind of music is really MAGIC.Never a dull moment listening to this CD, in fact,this is great CD for your car especially for long trips.I have been a jazz fan of Shakatak since they produce their first album.Almost all of my Shakatak collections are their vinyl LP's.Soon I will start collecting their CD's...Enjoy! Shakatak continues its excellent venue of smooth jazz and club dance offerrings on this album. Magic has that driving urban beat along with some very upbeat tunes. Particularly noteworty on this album are the cuts, Magic, Nova Bossa and Get Up. This is the perfect CD to turn on in the morning to get you up and going

I just find their music so special, and this album is right up there with the other jazz greats. Well done!
