From the Author

I wrote The Magic Sleigh Bell as a way to celebrate the birth of my first child. It was also intended to someday serve as a means of teaching some of my family Christmas traditions to my child. I hoped to incorporate some of these traditions, which were taught to me by my grandparents and parents, with new traditions that I would start with my children. Encouraged by family and friends who read and enjoyed my story, I began my efforts to turn it into an actual book. It was the pending birth of my second child which was the catalyst to self-publish my simple tribute to Christmas and Santa. Overcoming the challenges which occurred in writing, publishing and marketing a book has been very gratifying, but it is the wonderful response from children, parents, grandparents, educators and retailers which has made this experience truly magical.

This book is written in "current times" and what a wonderful Christmas story it is! It put a smile on my face and tears in my eyes. How wonderful it was to have such a beautiful Christmas sensation as I finished the last page. Thank you Mr. Elliott for writing an extraordinary piece of literature; providing me an opportunity to share a marvelous story with my family and friends. A definate "add to" for your Christmas collection!!
