5.0 out of 5 stars Recommended by this reading specialist, February 17, 2005
I'm a children's reading specialist and author (Teaching Kids To Read for Dummies). I use these books with kids who are really starting to take off with their reading and consistently get great feedback. Kids love the Magic Tree House series so if you're looking for great gifts or a bunch of books to keep your reader hooked, buy the lot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exellent, great fun (and frights) for Jack & Annie!!!!, May 16, 1999
By A Customer
On Jack and Annie's 10th adventure, they go back to an old Western town, nearly a ghost town, by a sorceress from Camelot, Morgan le Fay. In Rattlesnake Flats, Jack and Annie meet a mustang herder named Slim Cooly. In this terrific book, meet a ghost, learn what it's like to wear brand new cowboy boots, and also learn how to change (and how it feels to know you've changed) a cowboys life.

5.0 out of 5 stars MY BOY LOVES READING IT, January 6, 2007
My 1st grader hates to put it down, he would rather read Magic Tree House books, than play video games. He even reads them to his class and explains the story for show and tell. In his kindergarten class the teacher would also let him read the Magic Tree House books out loud, not to give her a break, but to promote reading out loud. Great books!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hardit, September 12, 2011
A Kid's Review
You should read this book because it is a cool book about ghosts. Jack and Annie went on a mission to a ghost town. They needed to find everybody before midnight. They also need to solve two riddles. When Jack and Annie went to solve the riddle, they found a cowboy that helped them solve one of them. If you want to solve the two riddles, then read the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Read, May 21, 2010
By
The Magic Tree House Series is wonderful. My 10 yr old daughter had been reading the series since she was 8. It appeals to both boys & girls. It also stresses cooperation & a bond between siblings. Not only is it fun but the author does an amazing job teaching kids about everything from history to animal species. Whenever a new book is coming out she insists on pre-ordering it so she can get it immediately!
