Pretty Much the Cutest Thing Ever,

It is. And it's better than book 1! I really enjoyed both, honestly, but this one goes more in depth about all of Trixie's friends which I though was great. Bed time habits of werewolves, mummies, body part boys, and vampires. <3 But told so hilariously and cute!
Sum up: ~> Can be read without book 1 ~> Art is fantabulous and watercolored ~> Story is appropriate for any age

There are a lot of reasons to like this book. First and foremost, Jill Thompson is a phenomenal artist. You will absolutely love the watercolor art. Secondly, it is a great story. Yes, it is mostly meant for kids (it delivers one of those 'be careful what you wish for' stories), but adults can definitely enjoy it as well.
If you have kids of your own, or you know someone who has kids and you're looking for a great gift, this is it right here. Not only should you pick up this book, but you should also get the first Magic Trixie book (if you don't already have it). You really can't go wrong with this one. |
