This is an awesome book!, May 19, 1999

I have over 100 books on personal development sitting on my bookshelf and this has to be absolutely one of the best I've ever read. Don't think twice, just buy this book and read it. I haven't read any other books that so eloquently and convincingly explain the mechanics behind all creation in the material world. It does this while "almost uncanningly" knowing exactly what it is that holds people back and addresses those issues directly. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes "Think and Grow Rich", "Creative Visualization", "Manifest Your Destiny", or "As a Man Thinketh".

A profound, life-changing read, October 29, 1998

This book is without question one of the most important ever written. After reading it I knew my life would never be the same again. It really makes you see what is possible in this world of "false boundaries and limits" and plants the desire to follow your heart and to never lose sight of your dreams, no matter how far-fetched they may seem. Thanks to Steve Vai for mentioning this book in an interview years ago. I never would have heard of it or gone out and bought it if it weren't for him.

Very Profound, June 14, 2006
This review is from: The Magic in Your Mind (Paperback)
There is a world of wisdom in this book. However it might not be for everybody. If you are looking for some instant "secrets" that can change your life, look elsewhere. This book explores how we react based on our ingrained emotions. Reason does not rule our lives - the subconscious mind does. And we do not simply tell our subconscious mind to think different. "The subconscious mind must preceive, then accept."
If we let our ego rule our lives, we are constantly competing. That is a game we will never win. There will always be someone who has more, has done more, is better educated or younger, better looking, etc. We must learn that there is a higher purpose in life and we need to learn how to supress our ego and follow the higher purpose.
There are some great insights about life and how to live it. However since it represents a way of thinking that will be new to most people, it takes some time to read and absorb.
It is well worth the effort if you approach the subject with an open mind. It is a book to be studied. The concepts will take time to sink into our subconscious mind. But if you will follow the teachings of the book, you will discover true magic.
