colbie callait's hit single "magic" features the best combination of her clean voice, mesmerizing lyrics, and magnificent melodies. must have for all fans of the genre. highly recommend.

Do you believe in magic? I don't
Colbie Caillat's "Magic" is as magical as a mood ring or a flip book... it isn't. It's a cheap thrill that's easily forgotten. Colbie conjures every romantic cliche, weaving a spell that puts the listener to sleep. The lyrics are incredibly inane,from the opening,speaking of the "magic leaking through your fingertips"--get a band-aid! to to Colbie telling her lover that...

Colbie Caillat's "Magic" is as magical as a mood ring or a flip book... it isn't. It's a cheap thrill that's easily forgotten. Colbie conjures every romantic cliche, weaving a spell that puts the listener to sleep. The lyrics are incredibly inane,from the opening,speaking of the "magic leaking through your fingertips"--get a band-aid! to to Colbie telling her lover that "(you) come up from above." So there's levitation and hemorrhaging. That's magical. As for the leaking magic,does the lover have the Andromeda Strain? Should he be in the Red Zone?"Magic" has inane lyrics coupled with bland instrumentation. It's folk rock lite. If you seek magic,go elsewhere.

What can i say? "Magic" is the best track from newcomer Colbie Caillat's album Coco. It make me think of my sweetie. This is a must-download track!
