Good read. I enjoyed the tone of the writer. Very sort of systematic approach to a subject which is basically the stuff of fiction. Draws some good connections between cultures and from the point of view of psychology, is an interesting dive into the mythology that surrounds this whole subject and would probably be a complete field day for those bending towards Freudian analysis. If you are a fundementalist, this book is probably heresy. It has some sorta decent photocopy quality drawings in the back in an appendixy type format that would probably be a lot more delicious if they were of better quality as well. Symbologists will get a kick out of some of that. Check it out. Get your footsies wet in a bit of the dark side.
