This cd is great. Every single song is a hit. A definite album for any collection. Personally, I don't know anyone who didn't like this album after hearing it. I'd pay twice as much for it. Check out "Everlasting"; great tune.

lt's a trip, it's got a funky beat, and l can bug out to it. Even though this genre hasn't died you might say it's on life support system. April's album/CD/whatever maybe l2 years old, but it's just as relevant now as it was when ''Someone To Ho1d'' was igniting night club turntables and dance floors back in l99O.

0ccasionally they play ''Someone To Hold'' on WKTU in New York and it brings me back to the Freestyle hey day in the late '8O's-early 9O's. This was or still is a great album, and not just ''Someone To Hold''. ''You're The 0ne For Me'', and ''Bring Back The Lover ln Me'' are highlights as well. lt's a shame that April has been reduced to being a wedding singer with her svengali husband. l'd rather hear here sing these classics in a nightclub rather than leading a bunch of prepubescent teens doing the ''Cotton Eyed Joe'' and ''Electric Slide'' at a Bar Mitzvah in some union hall. This album has stood the test of time, too bad her fan base hasn't.

April is the greatest!! This CD is hard to find, but is worth the effort..I met her at a club and she was very sweet. I just hope we hear from her again soon..

If you're a fan of freestyle, this is one of the CD's to get your hands on. Just about every track is great, with my personal favorites being "Foreverlasting", "You're The One For Me", and "Someone To Hold". The remix of "You're The One For Me" is pretty good too. Simple but effective lyrics, tight beats and April's sweet voice adds up to make a great freestyle album.

This is one Gem of a freestyle CD! Everytime I play it I'm transported back to the early 1990's when they used to play this ALL the time on Q102 out of Philadelphia, PA before they decided to act like Freestyle had never existed and no longer played it anymore.

If u want to hear Freestyle at it's PRIME....get a hold of this cd or cassette...April's music was at it's prime of freestyle ...."someone to hold" instant CLASSIC Freestyle...."Foreverlasting".....awsome song...

brings you back to creative freestyle music....If you ever get your hands

on this album....don't let it go....its very hard to find!!!

I am a huge fan of Freestyle and this has to be the best freestyle album. Growing up in the Northeast I heard Freestyle a lot and know all of these artists. April's album "Magical is no exception it is great and has cathcy tunes to dance to. Highlights of this album are "Someone To Hold" "Right On Time" and "Foreverlasting". I recommend this to any freestyle fan.
